During the day, these energy-efficient Atlantic Solars™ lights harness sunlight energy to charge their internal battery. At night they automatically turn on, emitting a bright glow for your fence post line. It will decorate fences, entrances, deck rails or can be mounted on walls.

I have never ordered any or had any but I've had many people buy them and love them and come back and buy them again if they were the generic brand these right here if you get the Atlantic solars had some complaints so I know where that is but these are definitely the better way to go very pleased with the service and the product

Garden post light

I ordered 2 of these Black color, Frosted Glass, Amber light(I wanted Blue or Green...Wife won). For everything being plastic these look really nice and install with no problem. They were easy to put together everything was already with them, and for the price you couldn't get anybetter. Compared to Lowe's/Depo prices for solar post caps these were a steal considering the options that come with them.
I put them on 2 post that were extended out of a garden box I built just in the entrance of a walkway. I was looking for something decorative to just give it that extra pop. I will tell you these give off no real light other than to light up the product. I wasn't expecting them to either, which is why I gave them 5 stars. The product works great(only been in for 2 weeks) and like I said I really like how they look at night. If you want something to light up a path though these don't get close. I am not sure what clear plastic would do, but I couldn't imagine a huge improvement. However, like I said if you are looking for something decorating(cute as my wife says) to put around your garden, deck, house, or on top of your posts These are great in my opinion. Especially for the Price!

poor lighting

Although I'm happy with the time of delivery, etc., I am Very disappointed in the lights. I purchased the upgrade,they are in the sun all day and the lights at night are very dim, and the lights are out by 10pm. I plan on removing them today.
